I have had several questions through our ABS YouTube Channel about how the vise in the video was made. I contacted Daniel Warren and Bill Wiggins and this is the reply that I want to share with you:

The vice idea came from Master Smith Greg Neely. Short description....take two blocks of steel, place a .010 shim between them and clamp everything together. You then drill a hole same size as your pin stock. Then remove the shim stock and it gives you enough of a crush fit to hold pin stock for preening.
