UPDATE - Judging for Master Smith and Journeyman Smith Ratings in San Antonio

The rooms have been assigned and the judging for the Master Smith rating will be conducted in the Jot Gunter Room and the Journeyman Smith judging will be conducted in the Frontier Room. Both rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the Sheraton Gunter San Antonio Hotel at 205 East Houston Street, San Antonio, Texas (www.gunterhotel.com). Judging will take place on Friday morning, January 27, 2012 at 8 am. It is recommended that candidates arrive at the rooms early.

ABS Bladesmiths who plan to be juried for the MS or JS ratings at the ABS Expo in San Antonio need to contact Dan Cassidy at abswebmaster@americanbladesmith.com at least 30 days prior (December 29th) to advise that you will be presenting your knives for judging. We need time to check the ABS membership records in advance and verify your ABS join date, school attendance date if applicable, dues payment record including 2012, and obtain a copy of your Performance Test Certification Form.
