The school is also offering several other workshops in the areas of Pattern Welded Steel, Wootz Steel, Integral Forged Knives and many more.
I am very proud to be able to offer our services to the ABS and hope this is one of many classes. Our next class is already scheduled for November 8-19 of this year. Stay tuned for some great images of the workshop.
Thanks, Dereck Glaser

I enjoyed participating in the hammer-in there last summer. You have a top notch facility and staff. Wish I could take the intro course there as well. Think you'll ever offer it during the summer? (I live and teach high school in Hawaii, thus only have the summers available for personal pursuits.)
See you again this summer.
All the best, Phil

I had a wonderful time at the New England School Of Metalwork this past 2 week. It was quite a drive for me, 16 hours, but it was worth it. To start off, the shop is excellently equipt and plenty of space to move around and all the tools you could need. I want to thank Don and Burt for a GREAT class. You guys were Excellent and put it out there in a way that made it easy to understand and take home in my brain. Having 2 different teachers, Don taught week1 and Burt taught week2, really brought 2 different ways that things could be done and I found myself incorporating little bits of both to make a style of working that suited me. Derek Glaser, the head guy, was great to work with. He has such an artist attitude towards everything and he runs the place very smooth and keeps everything moving forward, Thanks Derek. Also Hunter who works for Derek was a great help and ready to jump in if something needed to be found or moved or just have a good conversation... Well although it sounds like an ad for NESM.. its not.. i just had a great time and met great people and have no complaints...
