Top masters in the world of bladesmithing have donated the most exciting set of auction knives ever seen for the 2012 American Bladesmith Society Annual fund raiser at the 2012 Blade Show and International Cutlery Fair in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, June 9th at 10am in Room #103 of the Cobb Galleria.
Master Smith Red St. Cyr was chosen to make the ABS TOMB Knife of the Year for 2012. Red St. Cyr's knife is a Bowie and is his "Gentleman's Bowie" Model. The Damascus blade which is 8 7/8 inches in length is a combination of 1084, O1, and Nickel. The fittings are made of stainless steel and the handle is African Black Wood. The overall length of this outstanding Damascus Bowie is 13 3/4 inches.
