Mastersmith Dr. James Batson's work is the re-creation of a 19th Century Louisiana style Bowie. The gold mounted Damascus Bowie has a 9 3/4" bladewhich is housed in a sterling silver sheath with gold trim. Its Dog Bone styled handle is fossil ivory.
