Engraving for KnifemakersThis course is designed as a basic course in engraving that will be held at the GRS Engraving School in Emporia, Kansas. The instructor for this one (1) week, forty hour long course will be Steve Dunn, American Bladesmith Society, and Mastersmith. Steve is widely known in the custom cutlery market for his clean lines, symmetry of form, and his meticulous attention to detail in knife-making, not to mention the national acclaim he has received for his new found engraving talent. This engraving course will include the use of the GRS classroom and tools. The class will meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interested students may inquire and register by telephoning 1-800 835-3519. Please note that this course was initially advertised on the ABS website for Washington, Arkansas, but has been changed due to both the time constraints and the logistical problems of shipping equipment. The cost of the course will be $725.00. Maximum class size will be twelve (12) students.
