Blade Length: 10 7/8” Overall Length of Knife: 15 7/8” Blade steel: 5160

 Handle material: Ebony, with antique ivory panels inset into the palm areas of the handle.  The ivory panels have been checkered at thirty lines to the inch. 

Guard:  The guard is a “D” style, made out of mild steel.  The guard has a sculptured sea shell projecting over the riccasso of the blade.  The bottom of the guard has been deep relief sculpted to represent two interlocking scrolls.  The guard has been mirror polished and hot caustic blued, giving it a glossy black finish. 

Ferrule and Butt Cap:  The ferrule between the guard and handle, and also the butt cap, are made out of mild steel.  They have both been satin finished and niter blued to a bluish purple color.
