This year Jerome Anders, Ken Durham, Burt Foster, Doug Noren, James Rodebaugh and Jason Tiensvold collaborated to build a set, Matched Dueling Bowies, for the 2005 ABS Auction.
The set includes two coffin handled Sheffield-style bowies with Damascus blades, nickel silver guards and ferrules. Nickel frame handles with dovetailed inlays. Handles are African blackwood on one knife and mammoth ivory on the other. Both handles have intricate pique with silver pins. Both knives come in a custom box made from antique mahogany with ivory and blackwood knobs. Size: Knives have approx. 10" blades with a 15" overall.
